AUA Pure Water – Agua de máxima calidad, Ecológica y Sostenible
El Hotel Mayorazgo ha dado un paso más en su compromiso por el cuidado del medio ambiente, implementando en el ámbito de su Centro de Congresos y Convenciones y el Buffet La Pradera un nuevo sistema de ultrafiltrado de agua, como parte de su Programa de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC) Mayorazgo Solidario.
Consciente de la importancia del agua como recurso esencial y comprometido con las prácticas sostenibles, el establecimiento de cuatro estrellas ha llevado a cabo esta iniciativa que responde a sus esfuerzos continuos por minimizar su impacto ambiental y contribuir al bienestar de su entorno.
El nuevo sistema recoge el agua de la red local y la somete a un proceso de ultrafiltración, sistema que suma al filtrado una membrana antibacteriana que elimina todas las impurezas o cualquier otra sustancia perjudicial, conservando sus minerales naturales y ofreciendo un agua más limpia y pura.
El sistema de ultrafiltrado cumple con el Real Decreto 140/2003 y certifica la eliminación de cloro y otras sustancias prejudiciales para la salud. Se trata de un agua de proximidad, que evita los transportes con la consiguiente reducción de CO2 que ello supone. Adicionalmente, se sirve en envases de vidrio reciclable y reutilizable, contribuyendo así a la eliminación progresiva de todas las botellas de plástico de agua embotellada.

Ruiz Sotillo, Director General del Hotel Mayorazgo y Presidente en Madrid de la Asociación Española de Directores de Hotel (AEDH). “La implementación del sistema de ultrafiltrado de agua es un paso significativo en nuestra travesía hacia la sostenibilidad y la responsabilidad social”.
Esta nueva iniciativa viene a sumarse al impulso mantenido a favor de iniciativas sostenibles que hace merecedor a Hotel Mayorazgo de la Certificación E3-Gold por parte del sello de sostenibilidad hotelera Ecostars y el certificado de Compromiso de Viaje Sostenible de la UNESCO.
